Audrey Cushman

​Audrey Cushman paints landscapes with oils in an impressionistic style. She is inspired by the natural beauty that abounds in eastern NC and can be spotted outside painting marshes at sunrise, serpentine rivers at dusk, roadside flowers, emerald ocean waves, and cotton candy clouds. She strives to express the awe that she experiences in nature through careful observation and compelling design. Her plein air studies often lead to more developed studio pieces. Recently, Audrey has begun teaching landscape painting classes in New Bern.
