Carol Tokarski

​Carol Tokarski is a New Bern oil painter and a retired arts administrator. She graduated from Siena Heights College in Adrian, Michigan, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She started her first non-profit art center in 1980, and her last, at retirement, being CAC&G in New Bern. Tokarski's large-format oil paintings translate the natural beauty of trees and plants within their environment to the canvas with the use of rich color and brushstrokes representing nature's powerful patterns.
