I have collected sea glass since I was a kid. Nearly 15 years ago, I decided to learn how to make jewelry with my treasures. The sea glass that I collect, and use, is the real thing. It is hand gathered and never altered in any way. There is a lot of bending involved! It is not tumbled, or etched. It is as I found it, other than getting a rinse and then being drilled - which I do. Sea glass is such a mystery to me. How did it come ashore? What was it before? It is so difficult to find the real thing now. More people looking, and plastics have replaced glass as a packaging element. These pieces have real history, and it is my hope that you will appreciate it!
