Heide Lock

Heide's work is primarily landscape paintings, and marshland and seascapes in oil or acrylics. She has participated in juried shows in Connecticut and North Carolina. Her work has been collected across the country, from Maine to California. The way New Bern worked together after Hurricane Florence to help each other after this devastation cemented her conviction that this is where she needed to be. The beauty of the landscape here is only exceeded by the beauty of the people, and she has found herself welcomed by a diverse population of interesting people. Exhibiting and selling her art through the Community Artists Gallery and Studios of New Bern has been a rewarding experience. She has learned much from her fellow artists. They are a group of talented, warm and welcoming individuals with one common goal, to share the beauty of their surroundings through their art.
