J Burger

J Burger is a sculptor working in metal, wood, concrete, and other mediums. Much of his work depicts the human form, in whole in part, life sized or larger, and is centered on human relationships: to each other, to the outside world, and to our own selves. He created gallery works, custom furniture, and large scale public commissions for various organizations up and down the east coast. He teaches woodworking and welding at Shop Class New Bern, which also serves as his studio during the tour.
