I create work that reflects my experiences; from personal relationships to internal turmoil. Through surrealist paintings and sculptures, I depict the mental effect of these events. I make sculptures as a more immediate reaction to life. My process includes altering and materials to create new forms like using a heat gun to melt records, or staining photographs with instant coffee. Through this transformation, I show how going through these changes ultimately creates something beautiful.
