Kippy Hammond

Hammond has exhibited her work in France, Italy, Russia, Taiwan, Curacao, and across the United States, earning recognition with numerous state, regional, and international awards. She is a Signature Member of Excellence with both the Pastel Society of America and the Southeastern Pastel Society. In addition to her studio practice, Hammond leads self-mentoring and art exploration workshops in France and at art centers throughout the U.S. She is also the director of La Bonne Etoile Artist Retreat in France, where she hosts professional artists and students in a working studio environment. A founder of the NC Plein Air Art Festival, Hammond served as Host Artist from 2021 to 2026. Dividing her time between France and New Bern, North Carolina, she recently opened a personal studio and gallery in New Bern.
